ASHLEIGH NORRIS | Ashleigh is an Honours Graduate of The Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Toronto and owner of The Soulful Sprout Holistic Nutrition. In her multifaceted clinic she facilitates clients and community to connect with the healing powers of food and plant based medicines. Her holistic approach to healing has her working with a combination of functional testing, herbal medicine along with mindfulness and energy medicine in an effort to address imbalances and establish a foundation of health and vibrancy. You can often find her barefoot gardening, foraging or at the local farmers market soaking up all the season has to offer.
LAURA JOHANSON | Laura is an honors graduate from The Institute of Holistic Nutrition. Her passion for food inspired her formal training as a Chef at George Brown College's Culinary Arts Program. She has worked in some of Toronto’s best fine dining establishments as a professional chef for the past 5 years, including Nota Bene, The Drake Devonshire, O+B, most recently as part of the super successful opening kitchen team at Planta. Planta is a fine dining plant-based kitchen in Yorkville where Laura was able to combine her passion for recipe development, bold flavours, whole plant-based cuisine and elegant presentation. Laura is also an innovative and passionate Certified Nutritional Practitioner and the founder of T.H.I.S. Therapeutic Holistic Integrated Strategies. She splits her time between Toronto and Prince Edward County where she in an avid forager, amateur farmer, hiker, cyclist, nutritionist and mom.
TERI_ANN CARTY | Teri-Ann is many things. She is a yogini, a woman in recovery from alcoholism, a vegan committed to creating nutritious and beautiful home cooking, and a food photographer. She aspires to be the best version of herself and wants to inspire others to achieve the same.
Teri-Ann has been teaching yoga since 2015 but has been practicing since being introduced by her movement teacher in theatre school in 1997. She took her 200 hour teacher training at Yandara yoga Institute in Baja, Mexico in March 2015 after deciding to take the plunge into teaching and she hasn’t looked back since. Teri-Ann has practiced and gained experience all around the world and her sense of community has expanded to include India, Bali, the United States, Thailand, Australia, the UK and of course Canada. Teri returned to the Yandara Yoga Institute in the spring of 2018 to complete a 300 advanced teacher training. She teaches at Iam Yoga and Kula yoga as well as offers retreats.
